Foleo power supply

My, Foleo, what a small power supply you have!

Many of you have already seen Brighthand's Foleo preview, but if not, it's worth checking out. The video especially gives a nice look at the Foleo's compact hardware.

The Foleo's killer battery life will mean you won't need to carry around the power cable all of the time, but it's nice to see that it won't take up much room in your bag on longer trips.

I wonder if you’ll be able to charge it via USB. Would be handy to connect it to your main system to transfer files, and have it charge at the same time.

Assuming some kind of direct file transfer app makes it. Something like CardExport for Palm OS.

If it could charge via USB, you could use one of these USB battery backup packs. Would give you a bunch more hours on the road.

Also not mentioned in the article is the Foleo’s ability to charge your Treo via USB. That would allow us to travel with only the Foleo’s small power supply and a USB sync/charge cable for recharging on the road…

what’s that brick sitting on the floor???

  5. David Says:

    I don’t think that’s a brick… it’s a Treo sitting in a sync cradle.
