Palm responds

Remember the open letter from Engadget a couple of days ago? Well, Palm's Ed Colligan has responded to the challenges in the letter with a very polite post on the official Palm blog:

"Although I can’t say I agree with every point, many are right on. We are attacking almost every challenge you noted, so stay tuned. Let’s remember that it is very early in the evolution of the smartphone and there is enormous opportunity for us to innovate. We have only just begun to fight!"

Nice to see Palm respond to the letter, since it created quite a stir in the Palm community. Let's hope Colligan and company stay the course on the Foleo, instead of listening to Engadget's ridiculous call to "stop wasting money" on the product.

Palm has been seriously owned by Apple and I’m lovin’ it. They make crap and were talking shit before the iPhone hit the market! I say make it quick and painless and close up shop Rosy Palms.

    iPhone FTW!

    Wow, so mature…

That’s a nice response by Palm. Wonder if the Linux smartphone rumors are true. (The one for October.)
